| USA - I made 2 trips
to this country, 1st to the East coast and 2nd to the West coast.
I won't repeat all the phrases you hear when Europeans talk about
USA: different, bigger, ... . From my point of view I was amazed especially
by the harsh landscape in the west - endless straight roads, heat
and the smallness of a man against the nature. The East coast scene
is a bit closer to my previous experience, however certain places
like N.Y., Washington D.C. or Key West are totally different and have
its special atmosphere and feeling.

I think that a good way how to discover USA is to use a
car, despite the long distances. Get off the highway and you'll
see many nice places. .... and the petrol (gas) is there cheaper,
even now, than it is in Europe....
